Goals for the PFCRNRAM

Here are my goals for running the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n Roll Arizona Marathon, or "PFCRNRAM" for short.
  1. Get to the finish line injury free.  No more skipping long runs.  No more trying to make up for lost time because you missed a long run so you thought you could pick up where you left off and, because of that, getting PF or re-aggravating your IT band.  Not that I have any experience doing that.  Umm....
  2. Have fun.  I'm going to be in Phoenix in January.  Oddly enough that's better than Omaha in January.  Really.  It is.  No lie.
  3. Finish vertical.  I'm not going to go as far as "finish with a smile on my face" because, really, I'm not delusional.
  4. Punch Vanilla for Nitmos.  At least one goal should be fun and attainable.

Sounds like good goals that I should also keep in mind come November :)

Except for #4 though. I don't think Vanilla's doing the Philly Marathon. Should I just go for some random dude who looks like him?

Well OK, but I don't know how breaking your hand is going to help you run a marathon.

Any chance of you bringing me over to Phoenix so I can cheer you on? Who wouldn't want to go to Arizona in January ??

I'm supposed to be going to Arizona in February but am trying to rearrange, particularly to see #4 happen.
